Not all travel has to be far from home. One of the most rejuvenating short breaks I took last year was a weekend escape to Karridale Cottage and Hop Farm. I travelled to Karridale to help a mate out in constructing the hop farm. But despite the work the location and the atmosphere was relaxing and a marvellous escape from the city.

There’s no end of places to sample the produce of the region!

Once you’re on the farm, you drive through a tunnel of trees to the hidden chalets. We stayed out back in an old tobacco shed which was rustic and all kinds of awesome!
