I wish I could blame the long reach of the coronavirus for the huge gap in posts, however it’s pretty clear to see by my last post in December of 2018 that COVID is not the culprit.

What happened was, I lost my mojo! I could not find the motivation to write and post, and only now in November of 2020 have I found something of a spark to return to the piles of photos and stories I’ve collected.

To get here I’ve navigated some anxiety and depression, some amazing adventures and new experiences including getting married to Linh, who has joined me on almost all of the adventures that you have read about on these pages.

I sincerely hope that this sudden motivation to write sticks around and if the quality of posts is not where it should be, I hope you’ll forgive me for trying to dive back in to writing Einstein’s Barber Shop!
